Isla (pronounced "ees-la") is a project based concept brand that is originally from Manila, The Philippines and is now based out of Los Angeles, California. It means a body of land surrounded by water. Its owners are Filipino and its designs and clothing are heavily influenced by Filipino culture, stories and way of life. Their mission is to give back to the communities in their motherland through volunteer efforts and charitable contributions, and a portion of their profit on each sale is donated to various causes in the Philippines. Their heavyweight garments are made in Los Angeles out of high quality materials.
