About Us

Motivation is a premium specialty boutique headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Established in 2007 by owner Mike Moeller, we are one of the state's only boutiques to cater to streetwear fashion and culture.  We offer high-quality apparel that is creative, cutting edge, and influential. The brands we stock are hand-selected and limited in distribution; they are largely independent and not found in traditional retail outlets. In 2012, we also started stocking vintage University of Michigan apparel.  Now, approximately one third of our store is dedicated to both vintage and new University of Michigan clothing, with many of these styles being exclusive to us. 

Retail Location

Our retail location is located in the heart of the University of Michigan's campus at 1300 S. University Avenue, Suite 5 in Ann Arbor, MI 48104. It is located on the bottom floor of the Landmark Apartment building, on the corner of South University Avenue and South Forest Street. We moved to this location in late 2025 after 17 years at our original location, which was just a block away down the street.

Our retail location is recognized amongst the top specialty boutiques in the Midwest, and we are well known for our selection of hard-to-find headwear and clothing. All of the merchandise available here on MTVTN.com is also available at our retail location.

Friday & Saturday: Noon - 9PM
Sunday: Noon - 6PM
